§ 162-8. Definitions.

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:

PRIVATE ROAD OR DRIVEWAY

Every way or place in private ownership and used for vehicular traffic by the owner and those having express or implied permission from the owner, but not by other persons, except any shopping center parking lot or roadway, or other place used for vehicular parking for or access to any business establishment.

STREET OR HIGHWAY

The entire width between the boundary lines of any way or place when any part thereof is open to the use of the public as a matter of right, for the purpose of vehicular traffic, and shall include any shopping center parking lot or roadway, or other place used for vehicular parking for or access to any business establishment.
