§ 176-5. Plumbing standards adopted.

  • The Minnesota Plumbing Code as adopted by the Minnesota State Board of Health is hereby adopted and shall be in full force and effect in this City insofar as it is applicable to plumbing in connection with water works, branch sewers, main sewer or sewage disposal plants. All work done hereafter in this City shall be done in accordance with the provisions thereof as they afford the utilities herein set forth; provided, however, that this shall not apply to buildings now having water connections and service connections if the same are now satisfactory to the City Council. Either copper or plastic may now be used to make water connections to private residences or places of business, providing said plastic is of at least 160 PSI.
